Painting forces the artist to concentrate only on the movement of the brush and on breathing deeply. This practice steadies the hand and controls the application of paint, producing art while at the same time relieving stress.
Jeffrey Kausek is a veteran and an artist. He served six years in the United States Marine Corps, and completed two tours in Iraq and one tour in Afghanistan. He has also completed nearly 200 paintings some of which are posted here.
The artist had the privilage of showcasing two paintings in the Veteran Artist Program Exhibt, on display in the Pentagon from 2013 - 2014.
